What tires do you have

I'm shopping for tires for the big truck.
I have BFG's on the little one but
tire rack prices them a@ $129 each for
31X10.5/15's and rank#9 on the AT list.
General Grabbers in the same size are #5
@99.
I looked at them and they have a similar
tread pattern and depth.
What da ya think.

On the 77 I have B.F.Goodrich A/T radials 35x12.50/16.5's , on my jeep cherokee I have the American Prospectors 235/75/R15's , did price out 9.50/16.5 for the 77 as a spare, and they were 119.00 each, seems there's not much call for em unless you have a trailer.

I like the Generals, pretty decent tires, but I'm sure there is a better tire out there.

I did get a price from Barnes yesterday for the tires only and mounted but I can't find the paper but I want to say even buying the tires from tire rack + shipping was cheaper and I can do the mount/balance.
We've got a real good antique Cotes 1010. at work.

Forgot to mention these are General Grabber AT2's. Bigger lugs and sidewall lugs
than regular Grabbers.

Couldn't get the boss to go for a new machine,
not even one of those 1400 dollar jobs from
Harbor Freight. The station down the road has
one and they say it works great.

So do I on my BII but I'm trying to find something
similar for less than 4 @ 129.00 thats 516+ 70 shipping
which equals 576 bucks and if I wanted to jump up to
32's they're 138 each a little much for me right at this
moment.
The Grabber2's have a similar tread pattern and just
about as deep and nice lugs on the sidewall's at the price of
99 bucks each.

I can understand that. Did you try Mr. Tire? They might have a better price that is on the rim and out the door.

Yeah, the best price I had found when I got them before
was between BJ's and a place we deal with at work and
Bj's was doing the mounting free.
Mounting doesn't bother me I've got a Coates 1010 tire
machine at work and yes it is probably older than I am
but we both still work.

I have no clue how old you are but I am 53. I 1st used
a 1010 when I was about 18 in a Texaco station.
Now I'm trying to figure out with this impending wx
we're suppose to get tomorrow which truck to drive.
The big one has something Safari's (junk) and I'll probably
be doing mostly back roads from Timonium to Westminster
or the little one 50MPH downhill, but the good tires. Its
getting really iffy to drive but with junk O radials I don't trust
the big one.

Hmmmmm, I think I just answered my own ?

I like the BFG's too but dollars sometimes wins out
99 bucks vs. 132 for BFG's.
