Live Wire due tomorrow

Any body tuned with one of these? If so, what's your opinion of it?

I purchased a live wire a couple of months back for the Stang. I have used it for the diagnostics only so far. The car crapped out on me before I did a tune on it, traded it in for a '05 F 250 v10 last week. I plan to do a tune on the truck in the near future. The live wire seems very user friendly and easy to use. Be sure to download the upgrade patch and register it on the web site when it arrives. Good luck with your tune.

I'm hoping it will monitor what I want. I've read about it a long while ago and forgot all I read. I may just wind up with a data logger on top of it. I know I'm gonna need at least a full time A/F guage. Maybe I should have got the pro racer set up?

No need to update it as it has the latest revision on it from SCT. Registering it is a good idea.

I'll register it first thing. It's due FedEX before 10:39am. The sender spent two days getting a unit he wanted to send me. Guy treats his customers like I treated mine. He will get my business again since I haven't made up my mind on the racer pro package.

Does SCT do that just for the gas tuners? (come preloaded with the latest and greatest updates)

I had to download and update both the Firmware and the Tune file from SCT's site.

I got mine in today and checked it out as far as I could. There's a patch of rubber in the drive now and it was in 4wd. Tomorrow I go for the trans tuning.

The question was about your being up to date. Did you check that?

Yes I did and it's the most recent. Love the new ribber streaks in the driveway.

Still working on the trans parameters by trying to get in!!!!!!!!!! I did find you get 5 vehicles you can use it on if they are yours. obtw I'm on the 93 octane tune. I need a couple of bigger tires in the rear now. I have to lock it in 2nd to start if the roads are damp or wet.
