EAT RICE, DONT DRIVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Whipple you can get as low as $4750 shipped if you know where to look. And the comment about the peak horsepower on the turbo, they are not comparable. Anyone who has driven a positive displacement blower know that neither a centrifugal (pro charger) nor Turbo will have the mid range and low end the positive displacement has. Nothing against both of them, it is just in how they are designed to make boost. For a truck, I personally wouldn't go any other way than a positive displacement blower (twin screw (whipple, Saleen) or roots (roush, eaton, power works, magna charger, etc)). I don't want to ring my motors neck to make boost, I want partial throttle power gains while cruising around.

I was thinking if he went the way of a centrifugal then a turbo would be a better choice. But the positive displacements are nice, max boost right off the line, no turbo lag(witch i think the rear mount turbos are knowen for), and they have a cool whine( thats my own opinion). Dont get me wrong i love my Kenne bell. I was just saying though that STS little graph said they made more power compared to Whipple and pro charger. Thats all, just trying to let him know whats out there, But for 7000 DOLLERS thats a joke. And after looking at the charts closer i muct have mistaken hp for torque on STS (Thats my bad) because there peak was 348 and whippels was 394. hears a link to the whipple (also all the info about differances and stuff are up in the top of the forum)
