6.9 aftermarket turbo exhaust manifold question.
I have a older aftermarket turbo kit for a my 6.9 and i am just confused about its setup. It is a kit where the turbo exhaust inlet bolts straight on the exhaust manifold. I dont know exactally how these kits work, but there is 2 outlets on the exhaust manifold, 1 for the turbo inlet and 1 that goes back to where the exhaust would come out originally, thats what is confusing to me. Why is there 2 exhaust outlets on the aftermarket manifold? Shouldn't there be only one for the turbo ontop the manifold. If not, where do I hook up my turbo exhaust outlet pipe? Any help is greatly appretiated, Thanks.

Yes, I wrapped my up pipe and cross over pipe with header wrap.
Double layers of wrap, each soaked with ceramic high heat paint to keep the water out and the heat in the exhaust.
More heat in the exhaust = more boost.
The down pipe is also wrapped down past the transmission to keep the firewall and floor cooler.
Do remember, I have internal engine mods, so I want all the boost I can get.
A stock engine would not make it a mile at the boost numbers I am running before the head gaskets blew.
I see twice what you are running about every day, 15 to 20 is normal cruise boost on the interstate.
Kyle, your first step is to upload your pictures to your gallery.
You can create a new album called turbo if you want, then upload the pictures to it.
Nice truck by the way.

I did some searching looking for RayJay turbos.
Found a site in Australia that still has them listed as turbos they service.
http://www.turbofast.com.au/
They may have info on a US site if you contact them, or you may find one if you seach the net a bit harder than I did.
I see a lot of pages about RayJay turbos on the Honda and BMW cars, small motors like 2.3 liter though.
And several pages related to airplanes and boats using them.
2730 hits on Google for "RayJay turbo", I looked at the first page of hits.

I saw on the tubo it said RAJAY. There are many sites with them.. the company was sold and so some people are having time trying to get support and parts... http://www.gpopshop.com/rajaykits.html
but if you go to http://www.turboengineering.com/ Not sure, did they designed the turbo setup that you have using the Rajay turbo?
Nice looking truck.. btw

RayJay turbos were popular in the 80's, but I don't think anyone makes them or parts for them anymore. Might be able to find some stuff on ebay.
You might be able to swap it out for another turbo if it's in poor shape. Take a picture of the turbine flange, exhaust flange and overall turbo and post it up.
