1998 f150 to 1999 f350

Hey I just want to know if an engine from a 1998 f150 will drop in to a 1999 f350 and match up with out any modification.

Thanks in advance for the help

I think the 250 and 350 frames are different than the f150 after 96 on the f150. 97 f150 came out with the 4.6 and other new made engines and left the 302 and 351 off the picture. If your engine in the 97 was the same engine in the 98 then of course it should work. I just installed a 302 into my 97 F150 4x4 taking out the 4.6 and AODE. I installed the AOD back to my 4x4 case. I know that all the 302 351 will work in the later models of 250 and 350's or at least I am most sure. floyd
