standard cab seat vs. crew cab seat..what differences?

Someone told me that the bench seats in extended and crew cabs do not fold forward like the ones in the regular cab trucks. I thought they were all the same. I don't have immediate access to my crew cab and have not tried to fold it forward. Anybody ever heard of this?

Both my supercabs 75&77 have the split seat. My crew has a seat just like a regular cab. No need for it to split seein as how you have rear doors.

The center split supercab seats hinge toward the center of the cab as they go foward, allowing extra room to access behind. You can't fold both sides at the same time. There's also a release at the top of the back for either side.

OK Mando. Since you started this thread I need to ask a related question. I'm in the middle of a trade for a F250 CC that does not have a rear seat. It was removed to be redone and somehow got lost(?) Don't ask...
Anyway, my question is this: Are the front and rear seats the same width? I'm going to need to put something back in, and I'm considering just moving the front one back and putting bucket/captains chairs up front. Anyone have a suggestion?

They require their own special latching systems so make sure you get EVERYTHING for the seat.

I have a blue rear bench up for grabs.

I can photograph the mounts and latch IYI,

In my crew somone moved the front to the back. They look like exactly the same seat. I'll get some measurements sometime. I'll be up there tuesday.

good timing for this thread - I have been looking at my crew seats trying to figure out what was different between the front and rear.
It appears that they put my front seat in the rear and rear seat in the front as well. I would think this was done after re-doing the covers on each of the seats a while back. The seats look to be almost identical as they both look like they could have the ability to lean/tilt forward, but it seems I am missing the rod that goes across the rear of the seat to unlatch the thing to get it to lean (missing on both - so neither tilt/lean now).
This might lead me to believe I have 2 front seats - who knows. Both of my seats and most of my interior (door panels, carpet kit, both seats, possibly headliner) for that matter is for sale.

I know the brackets that bolt directly to the floor seem to be the same, but the front gets a slider assembly between that and the seat frame, and the rear gets a solid spacer type bracket.
