Truck shutting off?Other flaky things?

This is for anyone with similar problems. I had a problem with my 91 4.0L 5spd Ranger with the engine shutting off as I was driving and run on..hard starting. It would re-start right away (involuntary bomb start )so I took it to my Ford dealer. They hooked er up and it was just the relay for the ECM sticking. I thought it would be a big deal but it was $200 counting the diagnosis, also found out the Echlin temp sensor for the computer that I had replaced was defective. Threw the old sensor back in and 100% good now.

I looked all over to find similar problems and only found a few posts, those people had problems with the wiring harness wearing through and a dead short shutting down the computer ultimately damaging it. My mechanic said my problem was not uncommon.
