Slightly Paranoid Oil Question

Slightly Paranoid Oil Question
So I took the truck into the dealer for an oil and fuel filter change today. When the service advisor handed me the paperwork, I noticed it said "6.0 Diesel" on it (though my truck was correctly identified as an 08 F250). I brought it to his attention and he said it was just the software program they were using, and that they knew they were working on a 6.4. I mentioned to him that I only brought it up because of the 6.4 needing CJ-4, not the CI-4 oil the 6.0 takes. He told me not to worry, that they always use the "newest" diesel oil Motorcraft makes.
So I pick up the truck, and on the invoice the oil part number is XO-15W40-QSD. Out of paranoid curiosity, I Googled the part number, and the one link that brought anything up had a blown up picture of Motorcraft 15W40, CI-4.
So am I paranoid and is the part number just used for whatever revision oil is released every year, or am I screwed and need to drain this stuff ASAP? Doing other research, I saw one link on another forum that said Motorcraft discontinued shipping the CI-4 oil in early 2007. But like I said, I'm paranoid.
Any info, especially by any Ford techs re: the part number is greatly appreciated.

Man, I would take it back. You are not being paranoid. You just dropped $45 large on a truck and you took it to the dealership instead of the local yokel jiffey lube for quality service. Explain the importance of the CJ-4 to the manager and your paranoia about DPF congestion by non ULSD rated oil.
If they will not flush it out, change it yourself and report them to the BBB. Replacing the oil on the machines is very easy.
Dave.

That's what will totally bum me out if CI-4 is the case Dave. I've always changed the oil on all my previous vehicles, even when brand new. I figured for the price I paid for this one, I wanted the first couple of services done at the dealer, just to make sure the pro's check everything out. So it's gonna kill me if the first time I did that to make sure everything was right, everything turns wrong. Ugh.

I can't believe Motorcraft would bother having 2 differant 15W-40s. What would be the point? They would just be asking for trouble from missapplication and the CJ-4 is backwards compatible and a superior oil.
I don't see two differant grades of Rotella 15W-40, do you?

XO-15W40-QSD is the current part number for Motorcraft 15W-40 CJ-4 in single quarts.

Like origcharger said, it is unlikely that the dealer is going to stock both types of oil when the 6.4L requires it and it is backwards compatable. So I would not worry...
