Leaking Freeze plug.
Hit it with a screw driver or punch near the edge to try and "flip it" or wedge it out. Do not drive it in with a socket or something similar and do not hit it on the edge or you'll score the block and make a new one hard to seal. Replacing it with another metal one is best but if it's really difficult to get to you can put in a rubber style as long as you have drained the block and TOTALLY dried the sealing area...do NOT use any type of sealant with a rubber freeze plug. A rubber plug should be good for a couple of years.
