Methanol Suppliers?

So about a week ago, i started building my bio processor. i have WVO, and lye, but was out of luck for the methanol...
so i started calling around. Im in northern california, and the closest i found was Sac Raceway. they wanted $330 to fill my 55gal drum!!! That seems absolutely ridiculous to me... Anyone have prices i can compare to? i dont think i should have to pay $6 bucks a gallon....
and does anyone know of a better supplier in the area?

Try Cascade Columbia Distrubution in Seattle. I buy mine from them in Portland, and I know they have a plant in Seattle.

I`m having a heck of a time finding it also but I will prevail.My ? to you is how much are you paying for your methanol, to give me an idea of a pretty fair price of what I should be paying

I just bought a couple barrels, cost including tax was $374 (that is for both barrels so $162 per barrel)

I'm probably not the one to ask. I buy mine in 300 gallon totes, 2 at a time. Last 2 were $2.56 per gallon. Try looking for race tracks or race shops.
