replaced glow plugs.

I replaced the old glow plugs in my truck today. it was having a real hard time in the cold. I bought zd1a beru and they are installed. I spoke to a few mechanics and they said I could put the spade connector type in in place of my bullet types. I redid the harness and now aI cant get it to start. The truck is getting fuel. Help I have to go back to work in the morning. thanks in advance fellas.

Hi Beerman First I'd check to see if the relay was putting out when you turn the switch on. Then I'd check to see if any wires on the controller came loose when you switched the harness from bullet to blade. I had the same problem with the starting and I put a manual switch in. Works great now. I hope this helps.

Sounds like someone updated to the Solid state system........ what were the GPs you removed bullet type....... if so the ZD1As are probably toasted or they do not run with the SS system.
ZD1A are 6 volt ZD9 are 12 volt PTC

Do a test like test of the GPs.....

If you have a box by the cdr and oil pressure sending unit you need ZD9's. Your truck came with them from the factory.
