Dealer re-flash

I recently had my throttle body replaced by the dealer ('05 Fx4). They reflashed my ECU. I can no longer load any of the custom tunes into the computer.

These tunes were cutom made and placed in an XCAL by an SCT tech(not can tunes)I had this done back in 05' then I addedd a Volant and true duals, and we re-tuned again because of the mods.

I get no errors the tunes just do not load. The factory tune is junk.

Any suggestions.

You're screwed-Ford reflashed with a different strategy,and now the checksum and/or equizzer doesn't match.
All you can do is get the tuner unlocked from SCT(about $150),and then have your tuner rewrite the files for you.

I figured as much. This factory tune is a little better than the original from '05; however there is no comparison to the custom tunes.

Absolutely..Ford castrates the tunes to make the emissions morons happy. There's alot of power and mileage to be gained with a 5.4L 3V-as long as the tuner does it right.
If you're lucky-you're tuner will have mercy on you and change the tunes for you at minimal or no charge. Then you're only stuck with geting SCT to unlock the tuner.
