Rear gears

Whats the word on gear ratios? Will we be able to get 4.10 and 4.30 gears with the six speed? Seems like the best of both worlds and toyota has been capitalizing on this now for a year. Or will they send us home with 2.73's telling us that we will get one more mpg. Im being sarcastic but surely will will be able to pull a lower gear with benifits.

I've been saying for years Ford needs to have a 4.10 option. 3.73's don't cut it, especially with the taller tire sizes being offered these days. Hope they offer it on the 09.

Amen! I switched from a Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 with 4.10 factory gears, and with my 98 Expy with 3.55s, the gearing is my only complaint compared to my old Dodge. Hopefully Ford comes through!

Well lets wait and see what gear rations are in the trans. Rear end ratio is only part of the equation.

Good point, T-case ratios as well on 4X4s.
