Fuel hose came lose

Was driving to work today when i smelled fuel. Looked behind me and noticed liquid stains following my bronco. I quickly shut the vehicle off.

The fuel hose engine side on the fuel filter was lose. There is a plastic like thing on the end but it doesn't seem to be working. I can pull on the hose and make it come off the fuel line with a solid tug. Are these replaceable? Should i use a hose clamp? Any ideas?
