Found a Van

I found a 1965 I think, van in fair shape don't run but has engine. It does have some rusted out spots, a few dents but it just about all there. The guy that has it wants $500 is that a good deal?

3 or 4 speed or Auto?
Short or Long body?
Heavy Duty ?
Window set up?
Regardless, probably a good deal.

If it is not a rust bucket and the frame is not rusted or chopped up. It is worth it. If you get it running it is worth more then. Also does the exterior look all patchy with paint or rust spots does bring it down some on you.
To me it still a good deal. Up here in the north most have lots of cancer.

It’s a 3 on the tree has windows all the way around. There is some rust and a few small dents but fixable. It’s not a heavy duty van.

I bought about the same thing in a 62 several years back and put a 170 in it. But my biggest problem was a rusted, crud filled gas tank. Finally did the POR 15 treatment to the tank and it runs great now. Check out that tank first thing and its all downhill from there! Better get her done!
