Actually, the rest work like normal gauges. My volt gauge is about 1/4" lower with the key on, not running, the temp gauge measures actual head temp, not coolant temp. (Nice because if you are low on coolant, the sending unit will not be touching coolant and give a false reading. Been there done that on the Mustang years ago), and the gas gauge, tach and speedo work fine as well.
I too, wish that the oil pressure gauge was accurate, but that's life I guess.Been that way since 97 and probably won't change.

The OLM changes depending on how you drive it. Normally it's abour 4-4500K miles. But my wife got a job about 6 block from our house. She won't walk when it's -30F so she's been driving to work. This time the OLM went off with under 3K miles.

I'll agree, Air Bags are good. I won't agree with the boxed frame. We did fine without the added weight of the boxed frame for over 50 years.

My wifes GM car has the oil monitor and I think it is very nice, no need to change the oil every 3K that has been based on worst case conditions, she averages ~8.5K between changes.

I wish Ford F150 trucks would get a small turbo diesel maybe a six cylinder, a engine like that should get close to 30MPG maybe more. It would not be a speed demon but should have all the torque needed to pull 5000#.

I don't see the big deal about an oil moniter. How hard is it to check your oil? I check mine every time I stop for fuel.
