ok, next question...
how much will the stock tranny and TC hold before they need to be replaced?

And glasseater- IMO the definition of 7.3 is anything that even slightly resembles the motor under my hood he he he

well doubleovertime's 7.3 probably wouldn't fit hahaha his turbos are larger than the block itself LOL

oh and luke... do you think it IS possible with 2s to hit 450+?? i'm not gonna stay with 2s much longer once i get a trans/turbo/rods/studs/fuel system/oil system lol

I would say not with 160cc's. Have them stroked to 180-190 then add dual hpop's and 450 would not be a problem.

secondarychaos are you serious about dropping 20k+ just to prove a point to you buddy? If so thats awsome and these guys will help you stay on the right track.

oh and stock auto tranny and tc will hate life over 300 hp. They will last a while but they are not designed to handle that much power considering a stock truck puts out less than 200hp

That thing is awesome!!!
I dont know about 20K... but maybe like 5-6k here, 5-6k there, you know trying to build the most bad-*** truck i can without having my power and water shut off

It can be done probably take a lot of money to do it look on youtube for inspiration the psd smoking little nissans and all those videos they are awesome

Ya i love those type of vids... there was even a few of a 03 PSD built up that was whooping vipers, vettes, etc. some of them are even street races that were video taped... fun stuff...

Yeah they are awesome start saving man i bet you will have to drop some serious cash to beat the stang or at least i think

I'm dreaming of the day when my 'stroker can beat my dads 06' mustang GT500.. but I know it'll never happen.. IMO, you could beat that mustang a lot cheaper in a cummins... I know, I know, evil word.. but it's the sad truth of it..

although the twins setup is much easier to cram under the hood when you only have six cylinders...
