I think the only difference is that Ford is calling it black and not ebony...
Don't know yet. I'll check into that today.

Derek, have you seen any new 09 FX4 models yet that weren't two-tone's? I want to know on the solid color models if the fender flares are painted to match or are dark shadow grey like on the current FX4 trucks? thanks.

All the pictures so far just show that new 09 blue and dark grey two-tone FX4 model...

I'll take a look this week...thats one thing I was not looking at

But we have done a lot non-two-tones so I'll check if they are still in the plant somewhere.

Dearborn Derek, Do you know what the color options are for the 09 f-150's as well as when we can expect to see them on lots? Also i have no idea if you would have any pricing info, but if you do, do you know about how much a platinum will run.

-Black
-Amber Gold

-Candy Red
-Brilliant Silver
-Sterling Gray Metallic
-Royal Red
-White Chocolate

Mid August to September.
From what I have heard prices will be about the same and the Platinum will fall into the price area of the Mark LT.

Dearborn Derek thanks a lot for the info, looks like i will be waiting then till august to get a new truck. Do you know if the Sterling gray metallic is like the charcoal gray that they had back in the 2007 lineup?

go here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/2009f150/

Then go under Models, XLT and you can see the different colors. It's all computer generated though, not real photos.

thanks i guess i have never really paid attention to that when i was on that site before that it tells you what color it is in the corner.

I hope you can get most of those colors on the FX4 i would like to see one in that brilliant silver wonder if it will be two tone like earlier year models.
