I"d check on ebayt. you could get an idea of the cost for one, but I purchased the OEM DVD player and a 6 disc radio on their in the past and I've had no issues.

Wow, think you'd be in for a shock. The cost of it if ordered with a truck is about 2300 scooters. And I can imagine buying it seperately, it would be more. Additionally, there might be different dash parts to also buy. You'd be cheaper to buy a chouffer (spelling). Just my thoughts.

As stated try Ebay. I saw one seller on there that reprograms them to work with your truck and it was arounr $1300.

Last one I noticed on eBay was $400.00 shipped. Was brand new never used. Take out of a new truck where the new owner immediately put in an aftermarket system. Still had the plastic on the screen etc.

So, deals are out there. Just have to be patient and know what your looking for.

Good luck. I'm done searching for a new one. Going with an aftermarket Pioneer or Alpine or Kenwood (currently doing the legwork to figure out which one I like best and best fits my wants/needs). Average price for one of these installed is $1300.00 and they do look nice in the double din setup. The Nicest Pioneer was $2100 installed. So far, that's been the most expensive unit I've found.

I went with the Panasonic Strada. The screen is a full 7in. It is a HDD based navigation system. Works great and looks great. I paid 1200 installed. I also had them add a backup camera for 165, turns on when the vehicle is placed in reverse. Got great reviews on CNET

I recently bought one on ebay for my 2005 screw..........all said and done I paid $900 for the OEM nav system, antenna and having it reprogrammed for my particular truck.......it works great!

There are some deals to be had on Ebay.......just be patient and get a little educated first.......

Where do you get the navigation unit reprogrammed or can it be done a home with some software?
