Need some more idea's regarding the logo.

This so far is what will be on the michigan spotters card front.

Need some more Michigan like idea's for the card though. Something on that right side void.

Just a thought. Maybe we should throw in our state flag.

State flag would be cool. Could add the eagle that has a home on/near the bridge. Maybe a picture of the state, including the UP of course.

Great job on the logo can't wait to see it. Are we going to have "T" shirts and such also?

Okay, I added the state seal instead of the flag and pushed things around a bit.

I dont know if I would use this design on a shirt, but its traunacateable to licence plates.

The initial idea is for spotters cards.
The back will have info about us, which I have not wrote up yet.

Somebody hunt me down a better picture for the bottom left corner.
Its so hard to image hunt on dial up.

Need a 2000+ ford TRUCK, preferably a SD or 350 with a bit more of an angle shot to show more side of the body, just to take up a bit more space.
That one just isn't eye apealing to me.

looks good! just my two cents, but i think a bolder, "sportier" (?) text would look nice. maybe without the state seal, since the outline and bridge are both on there (that's just the "less is more" mentality in me coming out)... then the text could be bigger.

are you going to put any info or the website URL on it?

I can pull the red ring off the state seal there. and just use it like that.

The text is easily modified. (thank you photoshop)

I stated the websight information will be on the reverse side of the card.

Once the spotters card is finished. i'll get us some printing prices. and whoever wants cards has to chip in. FTE will not pay for this stuff.
They offer printable spotters cards already.

I'm going to make a buisness card size and a 1/4 sheet of paper size.
I'd rather use the bigger ones.

My color laser printer was smashed thanks to an idiot guy, we wont go there, but i wanted to throw it in his car window.

I can probably finagle them out of the color laser i just found at the college. Will be fun.
I'll have to get in and get the card stock into the printer, then print them when he's not there and pick them up when i come into class.

He wont make copies from it, kinda funny IMO, i guess he doesn't know you can make 10k pluss copies on a developer

Laser you say why?
Because toner will not run like your home desk jet printer, so if it gets wet, they will still get the message.

Same thing with doing cards at the printers. Its tough to get decent DPI for cards at 3.5wide 2 inches tall. They will print them much better. And if people are serious about our group, they will pay, is what i figure. =)

Searching for a couple picture options, to replace the pic of the truck on the left. I will try to get them uploaded.
