Hitch wiring

I have just installed a vally class 3 hitch on my 06 escape and there is round plug on the drivers side rear bumper is that for the lights if not were do i hook in for the trailer lights.thanks

a guy a work with just did a 05 escape. he went to ford and bought wiring and said ford gets the wiring from valley towing or valley industries try there web site it gives you directions to install i think he said cost was about $57.00 and took about 3 hours because you have to take off lots of stuff.

opps i talked to guy at work and he paid $107. for the wiring from ford.

Decided to buy the harness with module from etrailer for $60 shipped. Will update on how it works after it is installed.
