Darker Idea's

Okay, this is not the correct place to post this, but you guys all ROCK!

after the securing of my PSD + mods. I have a darker project in mind.

I really love my F150, and I love the Coil TTB susspension.
12 valve is about 850ish lbs. Bout double the weight of the standard 302 I have in there now.

Have any of you done this swap?

I'm thinking it will make a hell of a truck. Especially if I stick in a 10.25 stearling or just put in a nice Tosen locker in a 8.8

Hmm. Thinking about it. If i can find an f150 with a i6 in it, maybe the motor will install easier, and i'll have a good motor setting around.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's not a kick azz project. And by all means do it if you can. I'm just saying it will be expensive. But heck ya, do it if you can cuz it's cool as hell.

RD, you were guy I was waitin to respond. =)

Why so expensive though?

I can't figure that part out.

Just need the motor/tranny (stickshift!)
That just must be that expensive of a deal?

Truck, motor/tranny, computer, wiring harness, fuel tanks/pump, radiator, dual battery setup and.... whatelse?

THats all I can come up with. An old junked dodge to bring home that ran, but the body is gone.
Pull engine give it a headjob ($1000?)

The wiring must be the beotch part of it.

I have no intentions of a fummins style truck like in diesel power issue.
Just want a 200-300 horse f150 12valve.
