212,500 miles on my 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4. Only normal wear and tear items. Parts so far are 1 starter, new front hub assembly. It's been pretty reliable since I got it with 170k on it. Only uses about 1qt of oil every 3k miles.
It looks like these trucks are built ford tough too. Run forever an wont break the bank doing it. Thats why I am Ford loyal. Cottage grove,MN sounds like a nice small town.

Cottage Grove really isn't all that small, about 35,000 people living here currently. The city is slowly growing. I've got a friend who lives in town of not even 1000 something like 600 i think here in MN.
180,500 miles and running great. Changing all fluids just for good measure after buying it with ~179k miles. Also changing the 90° EGR Elbow before it gives me trouble. A little preventative maintenance and these pickups will last a LONG time.
Just purchased a 2001 F-150 4x4, 5-speed manual, with 183 K miles, for my son, we went for a ride,,no squeaks or rattles, was kinda impressed,,,we heard it had mobile one most of it life,,engine sounds great, tranny shifted great, we found some rust under it, he is going to scrape, brush and protect it,,, below the tailgate though it will need some cutting and welding, should be a rather easy fix !
If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for it. I've got a 2000 XLT with 188K that I will be selling soon.
