I'm hoping the F150 ha a good display there, can't wait to see it (or check out any of Fords new lineup for that matter)
I haven't been to any of the other auto shows so I can't really compare but the Chicago Auto Show is huge. McCormick place is great for this and the past few years it just keeps on getting bigger. Daimler-Chrysler always has one of the most unique displays there where they give you a ride through different conditions in their lineup.

was there today, truck much better looking in person. Sat in it and seems very comfortable. I don't know if the seats are different, but it seems more comfortable than my 04' lariat. Got some pics but most are the same views as we've seen already. Do have pics of the new e-locker, don't know if its any bigger than what's on the trucks now or not though
the seats were for sure more comfortable.....I was there today as well and i can say i'm super excited about getting another new truck now.....I have to say ford really made this one a hit......i spent a good amount of time walking from the ford back to the dodge and then over to the toy....and the F-150 is by far the best all around package. The dodge had its nice things....alright styling.....rail storage boxes (cool in person).... the toyota continues to make me think i'm buying a light duty car....that looks like a truck.....but the ford really looks and feels solid....I'll have pictures from this weekend up sometime soon.... (ps...ford....the model on display was leaking from the engine...might wanna clean that up a bit)

As mentioned, the place is huge. They use 1.3 million sq. ft. of display space for the show. For comparison, they only have 700,000 sq. ft. at Cobo.
While Chicago may not be the "International" auto show it is definately superior to Detroit. If you are looking for "big news" and "vehicle introductions" Detroit is the place to be. If you just want to look at vehicles, Chicago is the show you want to attend.

Saw a red lariat at the Phila. car show, supercrew with 6.5 bed, the inside was really plush and I did like most things like the painted door handles. They had it parked next to an 08 black supercrew and you could easily see the 6" difference in lenght because of the front door lenght. I guess it will grow on me more once I see it driving around for a while, the new front end really gives this truck the look of a box with wheels, just my opinion. I'd still pick the Ford over the rest but I like the current style better.
