Exhaust advice 78 F150 351M

Got a 78 with 351M 400 Headers 2WD.

Looking to get a little sound out of it but not so much the neighbors hate me. Gonna stick with single standard tailpipe but thinking about putting in a flowmaster or something eqiuvalent. Could someone suggest flowmast muffler for good sound or other setup.

Always had a quiet exhaust so looking forward to some sound. THanks!

i wouldnt suggest a single pipe. They suck. haha. Im runnin the stock single exhaust but I put a cherry bomb on it and hacked of the stock muffler. Really cheap and doesnt sound too bad. Its only until I get the money for duals tho.
a Flowmaster 44 or a 40 would sound good.

I have 50 series flowmaster dual 3" it is a little on the loud side but if you go with a 3" single you would still have good flow and as long as you don't rev it do much you would not be to loud. Oh mine also has next to nothing for tail pipes just dumps over the axle.

this is probly too loud for your neighbors but this is my truck, headers. 3" duals to flowmaster 40's dumped just before the front of the bed, but even a single flowmaster will add some nice rumble and not be TOO loud

Just my two cents but I just ran dual with flowmasters and while it sounds good I very much perfer the sound of dynomax turbos or super turbos. The give off a nice low rumble at idle, sound good on accel, and just get down right midevil on WOT.
