? about xcal-2 programmer on my tune?

i have a 2000 xplorer sport and i have the xcal-2 programmed with a tune.but in the modify parameters where you can choose your axle/gear, mine is on stock.but my truck has the 3.73 gears in the rear end.should i leave my tune on stock or put it on the 3.73 on the xcal-2? since thats what the truck has.but will it even make a difference? if it don't matter if its on stock or on the 3.73,then i'll probably just leave it on stock.but if putting it on the 3.73 will be better then i will change it. any help or suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

The PCM has a few lines of code that are vehicle specific assigned when the PCM is programmed for that specific vehicle that it'll beinstalled it. It's called the VID(Vehicle ID) block. Information there are things like Axle ratio,PATS information, etc. This axle info can be ovedrriddin within the software by changing a couple of system switches and the axle ratio scalar.
If you're using the stock axle, then leave the file as "stock",and the software won't alter the settings, and everything will work fine.
