Joe, are you talking about just the front sheetmetal or the front frame section or both. There is quite a difference between the frames of the 1939 and the 1946 pickup. Depending on where you are going with your project could require a lot of faberication. Just need more information. There might be someone else that could help more.

Fenders, hood, grill,radiator, dont really know what else I need. just want to change the look to a 39

Well Joe, I'm not an expert but I can give my view of it. The 39 car and truck used the same frame and the 46 truck frame was redesigned as a truck in 42 with parallel rails, The cabs changed in 40 and 41. I don't think the reveal along the hood and cab of the 39 won't match with the 46 cab. The cabs from the 40-41 are similar to the 42-47 with few differences. Do you have all the sheetmetal including the cab from the 39? Do you have the 39 frame?

They share a fairly similar cab, in fact, I believe the character line matches up on the belt line between the hood of the '38-'39 and the cowl of the '40-'41 cab. Not a total bolt on, but I believe that you can make it work.
