72-F100-4V is starting off with a positive reputation.
Need some L onwer advice

I am looking at buying a wrecked Lightning to swap everything over to my 72 F-100. I want to use the dash, all of the wiring in the truck, the seat, motor, trans, and anything else that I can make fit, or modify just a little to get it to work.

So my question is when im looking at a wrecked lightning, what should I pay attention to? If its been wrecked in the front, will or can it still run? How would I check for a problem with the trans?

Should I stay away from a truck thats been hit hard in the front?

wd13 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
The only thing I'd really worry about is the heat exchanger in the front. It would probably need to be replaced if the front impact was very hard.
