I have a 94 f-250 with a factory 460. I want to know the horsepower rating from the factory. It is the EEC-IV computer system(i think), and has an E4OD tranny.

 

I do believe the HP rating on a 94 460 is 230HP @ 3600 RPM. It's torque readings are 390FT/LBS @ 2200 RPM. These numbers were good for the 1987-1994 years. HP and Torque went up in 95.

I have a '94 F-250 with the EFI460,and the E4OD trans.In 1994, Ford rated the 460 at 245net horsepower at 4,000 rpm,and 400 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,200rpm(with the E4OD).The Superduty(F-450), motorhomes,and stripped chassis vehicles got a 255net horsepower rating,and 405 lb.-ft. of torque.Pre-'94 EFI460s got the 230net horsepower rating, and a torque rating of 390ft.-lbs.
