You have to go to a dealer to get it programmed. If you had two keys, you could use an ignition key sequence to program the blank. Unfortunately, without a properly programmed chip, the key won't work.
You can also go to a locksmith, it's sometimes cheaper. Where I work we charge $50.00 for the key and $50.00 to program it if you only have one. You dont want to know the cost if you lose both.
