havi is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
In relation to Street Rodder, I assume Street Rod Builder is better? more in depth, less advertisements, etc...?

I personall think it is much better! More owner builts, more "real how to", not just infomercials on how to install the advertiser's products. Articles tend to be much more in depth and you don't have to search thru the ads to find them. I love seeing the feature cars in process.

8bahead is starting off with a positive reputation.
I painted my 53 with what sherwin williams call egg shell black.
its black laquer with flattening agent and hardner its a 8:6:1 mix 8 parts black 4 parts flattening agent 1 part hardner, it makes a quart! I sealed the body parts with a blue colored sealer and squirted it on! it came out a nice satin finished. not to glossy and not to flat but just right for those of us that dont have perfect sheet metal!!

stealthy greythorn ? hmmm are you like me and spent some time in places where flatblack painted cars including all trim and illegal plates and nasty sounding engines were used to haul illegal drinking substances and were refered to by many as " ridge runners " ?????? stealthy i dunno but the guys driving 'em were better than the law and the cars were most definetely faster .
