water leaking,new water pump??
Tody while driving my 99 350 with7.3l heard squeel then smoke. Looked under hood and belt broke. Got her home and have antifreeze leaking under water pump but too late and can't see if it is coming from water pump or around pully that is just below water pump. How much trouble and cost to change out pump. Truck runs fine after I put new belt on but have the "leak" and after a few minuites a squeel....HELP!

It is about a 2-3 hour job, if you have everything in hand. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...pump-woes.html
Read throught htis, and you should have about everything you will need to know. if not, stop by the website and ask, everyone I have met on this site is willing to lend a verbal hand

Welcome to the Forum... Here is a write-up on changing out the pump..

I hope you checked your idler and the tensioner pulleys for bearing slop/wear.
If there's movement sideways, your new belt might not last long.. Both the pulleys are easy to replace..
