Thanks for the greetings, all. Haven't actually seen this truck I supposedly own in person, but I'm supposed to pick it up Friday from less salty environs down south in VA. Hopefully it will wait until we get home to present me with the opportunities to wrench I've been yearning for. It wasn't quite what I wanted at first (or, for that matter, where I wanted it!), but the price was right, eBay seller had gobs of good feedback, it will work for what little it needs to do (Home Despot runs, muse for retarded wannabe mechanic, etc.), and I also soon remembered that great men have driven 4x2 F100's of that vintage, so now I'm pretty psyched.
If you like the 70's Fords you have a lot in common with my son..
He has 4 of them in my yard right now..
