Smallest lift for 37" tires?...

Searched but couldn't find what I was looking for.

What is the lowest lift for 37" tires? I don't mind some bumper modification.

I like the BIG tires to make the X look more proportional, but big lifts just don't do it for me.

I don't plan to do much off roading, so articulation isn't a huge consideration.

CRAP! That's a bit more than I was expecting. I could put 37's with no rubbing on my ram mega with a 2.5 inch.

Looks like 37's aren't in my future. 35's look pretty good though

From my experince depending on your truck 4wd or 2wd. If you have 4wd and go with 4 inches of lift you could ( may ) fit a 35's with certain rims. To clear 35's no problem with no change in rims offset or back spacing you will need to move up to 6 inches. I have seen some compnaies claim they can put a 6 inch lift with 37's but I just cannot imagine the offset or backspacing needed for clearance. As for 2wd I am not too sure.

I guess my new goal is to put 37's on with a 4.5 lift. This should be interesting.

I could fit 35's on my four inch lift 2wd. I had them put on and they fit with out rubbin the top of the fender, but the rims wouldnt allow it (rub at 90% lock) and i liked the look of the OEM rims so i downgraded to 33's. U can easily fit 35's on a 4 inch lift 4x4. As long as u had aftermarket rims. But if u dont mind the tires rubbing everytime u turn around, then u can put 35's on OEM rims with a 4x4 four inch lift. As long as the lift has the height to allow the tires to not rub on the top of the fenders then u can go with any size tire as long as ur rims have the backspacing to keep it from rubbing and it wont be the stock rims u are using. and ur tires dont rub against the bumper while turning. But if ur ready to cut off of ur bumper and fender then ull do any tire.

I think u can put 37's on a 4 inch 4x4 lift. BUT, ull be doing alot of cutting. When i say cutting, ull be takin alot of chunks off the fender and bumper. I also think that u can fit 37's on a 6 inch lift but again ull need aftermarket rims with alot of + backspacing.

I eat hybrids, That's what I wanted to hear. Aftermarket rims are almost a given. I don't mind the cutting. I'll probably get a roadarmor bumper which gives a bunch of clearance.

So, the limiting factor, in your opinion, is fender rub?

No not so much the top of the fender. The back of the fender and the front of the fender. BTW, u also MIGHT have to cut the RDA bumper. But im not positive. Ill post picks in ten.

what do u guys think that is? a four inch or no lift?

The truck looks kool. But it serves no point because it cant go over ruts and stuff with out bottomin out and it cant go through deep mud. But it looks cool and everyones free to do what they want with their money. I guess if i made a lot of money id do it to.

I bet it's a 4 or 6 but those are 44+ tires and WIDE. I'm sure it's a GREAT snow vehicle, not to bad in mud either.

Probably not to nimble on the rocks though.

That thing is prob alright in snow. U dont want wide tires in the snow. But i dont know, if u look at the steps and compare how close they are to the ground, they dont look to that high off the ground for a 6 inch lift.
