The yellow Y connector shown is a keyed power connector.

you can tap into wire on headlight switch to get gauges to light up when headlights are on I would suppose. I chose to just have gauges light up when key is turned on.

The courtesy light connector, is that for the lights under the dash? I have the lights out of another truck, but it has been a long time since I took them out.

hey guys, I was under the dash with my radio pulled out and found a green 2 blade female connector, the wires that feed it are a blue with red stripe (lights) and the yellow with black stripe (keyed power) hope maybe this helps someone, maybe FORD thought it would be nice to have an accesory plug in case someone wanted to add anything to the truck

Thanx Mil1ion and everyone else who has been such a great help.

That's the normal radio power plug.

One side radio power

the other is radio light.

Blue/red stripe is Instrumentation lighting.

I've always heard to not even use those gaskets on the ends because they have a tendency to blow out. What I heard to do and what I did was just put a big bead of black RTV across the front and the back to take the place of the cork gaskets. It has worked great for me. Good luck. Thanks for the tip on what the radio plug looks like I'm sure mine is in there somewhere I need to dig it out because I'm getting ready to install my radio finally.
