George, have you seen/used Zaino? It's multi-part stuff. Look here:http://www.zainostore.com/

I used it for my Lincoln and it worked really, really good!

In all the time I have been working on and with cars and their finishes I've always thought more important than the product is how it is applied. I use a buffer for almost everything but then again I've been using one for over 25 years.

I just purchased a Porter Cable 7424 and used it on my wifes mini van today. No way was I going to try it on my truck first.Very nice! I had a 10" buffer the thing was a waste of money and scratched my paint. The white foam pad was good for the hole car. This waxing procedure is not as easy as you would think. I can't wait until I see how everyone waxes there truck!

I'm looking for another one now but unsure of what. Haven't tried the Porter Cable double action. Mcguires usually has a booth here for the RV show so
I want to try one first. The DeWalt is way to heavy.
In all honesty George I'm looking at a few that Harbor Freight has. The lighter the better. I can use the one I have now one handed and stretched completely out.
I use McGuires products mainly and just about the entire system and the old style wool pads.
If it wasn't good enough would I use it on my 2003 Jeep
or a 300K motorhome I just spent 400 bucks on paint.
Go over to the MD page, click on the Gallery pics TB put up. Past all the fire trucks are all my vehicles, I've buffed everyone.

George I have the Porter Cable 7424 and it is light and easy to get into small places. You control the speed also. No problem with the paint it is safe to use.If you want to see it I can bring it to the GTG Sat. Just let me know and I will bring it. I purchased it for work before I bought one to try it out. It was $99.00 and worth every dime.

Hey Bud,
Did you get the email I sent back to you needing the module # of your trailer and possibly the serial #.

No Dave, I did NOT. I'll have to look up that info...I believe they have the model as "30-5X". It's Prowler by Fleetwood. If you need the VIN, let me know. I can also go out into the trailer and get the landing gear manufacturer if you need. I hae bought the helical gears before from them. I just put a new set on the driver's side this summer, but I must have screwed something up as it's slipping now. But I can not figure out how the heck to adjust the slideout so it's even.
