Talking Cabin Fever

Hey guys, I was wondering if I'm the only one who has cabin fever? I was thinking it would be kind of cool if some of you guys who can post pics would post some pics of some of past truck shows over the last year or several years ago??

I know Tacson posted some pics of the June show in Pigeon Forge TN from last year, I really liked them!! Please guys get some pics up!!! Everyone who knows me, knows I dont' leave the house except to go to church or a truck show. So this is my chance and other's to live vicariously through you guys who go all over the place.

Thanks guys

I start getting cabin fever around January 2nd. I hate winter and can't waint until spring.

As soon as the calendar turns to January, I start thinking that "Spring's Coming!!". My cabin fever gets me thinking about road trips I want to take. Here lately I've been studying the map planning another junk yard tour. Maybe to the Gulf coast and back, all on back roads. Just me, the dog, and a big red truck.

Here's a wide shot of the Knoxville field from this past summer. Hope it helps get you in the mood.

At least most of you guys have trucks that will fit in the garage. Those of us that can't even fit the nose in the garage really get hit hard in the winter. We're getting dumped on right now. Got about 5.5" - 6" since 0600 this morning. Went to the store, and almost couldn't make it up the road back home (tires are bald on my Beretta, too many smoke out setions). Broomed off the fire truck, and am considering taking advantage of it not getting picked up until spring time. At least it has weight, and traction tires. When it comes to the winter time, we hang out inside with the kids. Got a bunch of model train stuff, and have been laying out some train ideas to keep me and the kids busy for the winter months. Got my R/C truck project, building a tube style frame for my 1/8th scale nitro truck. Got some model cars to put together, and of course, I have you folks to keep me occupied. I hate the cold season.

Talk about cold, I just moved to SD and last week I was out working on the Ranger in -20 temp! Didn't have a choice, nothing would run! It's down right balmy today all the way up to 34! Been up in the twenties the last couple days so I went out and put a new carb on the merc. It's not quite the same as working on my 50, but that time will come. I can't wait for 40 degree weather, come on spring!

Very COOL link Donald!!! Very cool pics everyone!! I'm goin to try to get my wife or someone else to post the pics from the Ky Motor Speedway in Spart KY from '06. The Tri state F100's (our club) got to drive the parade lap for the Nextel Cup for the Ford Tough 225 race. You can barely see my roof in the group shot. But it is a cool pic.

Keep posting guys!! This could be a cool thread!!

If I could get the inlaws to get this danged CNC plasma table outa my garage, the 49 might fit. Then again, the driveway is really steep, and I might not be able to get the tow truck up far enough to get it in the garage. I forgot about the 49. I really would like to use it as trading power for another Big Job though. Besides, the 49's a 1/2 ton, so doesn't that mean it's a half truck? LOL kidding guys.

youre half wont fit ? i was refering also to my 49 . its too dain big to share room in the garage with her car , and if i get it in it's just long enuff the darn door wont shut ! you could just send one of those trucks to me and i'd be happy to provide it a place to sit wm joe !!!LOL oh yeah it would fit length wise if i got rid of some of the last stuff i got that every one thinks i should dispose of like the flathead {37} engine and the two flatty blocks , the two fe's and some other sundry things . ain't gonna happen !!!!!!!!
