Manifold and Fuel Pump Problem

Hello. As you may recall in my last posting I was trying to figure out the best way of fitting a 302 into my 41 pickup, however things of changed. We have now decided to drop a 59ab in it and we are having a little trouble with the fuel pump hitting the manifold. We have an 8ba offenhauser 4 barrel manifold and a stock 59ab fuel pump stand with both an 8ba and 59ab fuel pump. Are problem is that the fuel pump is hitting the manifold which does not allow you to bolt it together properly. The 8ba stand as you probably know is offset, and I am wandering if it is okay to use the 8ba stand with the front draft tube on the 59ab. If we decide to do this we would not be able to use the breather cap. We are planning to use a mechanical fuel pump with a back up electrical pump. If you guys have any suggestions please post.

Thanks,
