Hands Across The Water

Hands Across The Water. Dave Holmsey and three of his friends from the UK visited our shores this week. They came to see the LA Roadster Show and scrounge some parts. I met up with them at the "Donut Derelicts" Cruise In in So Cal Saturday morning. Good bunch of blokes.

Friends from the UK: (L-R) Dave Holmsey, Craig Dixon, Pete Croskery, Mark Pullin at Donut Derelicts Cruise In 1/26/08 in So Cal. Pete asked if our cameras had an "Ugly Filter", but his picture showed up anyway.

Randy, I am really glad that you guys hooked up with Dave. He helped me out with the Jag IfS back I guess almost 2 years ago-how time flies. As many of you know "Holmsey" has an excellent website documenting his 55 F100 build with great pictures and discourses of his trials and tribulations. He is a really good guy.
This is his website-very worth a visit

Welcome to the colonies, guys!

I find it fascinating that some US folks love MG's/Jags/BritBikes/etc while UK guys are into our trucks/cars/H-D's. Is this the "grass is always greener" syndrome?!

Talking

Hey Randy, that's COOL man!!!! I forgot all about their planned trip to CA. Holmsey is the man!!! He has a fine website, and even a finer F100!! I love how the love for these old fat fender trucks brings us together!! I think maybe if everyone else in the world would stop fighting, and working on F100's maybe this would be a nicer world??? ( just a thought)

Again, Randy a cool pic!

I'm happy to see that they carry the same Beer Bellies as most of us that I've met or seen pictures of.
