this is the same style i used....it worked good, but was still scarry... im sure that it wouldnt be so bad though just doing stock sizes.

I changed mine out yesterday. It took me a bit longer than expected due to the fact that I have the 2.5 spacer on the front (not autospring so it doesn't compensate for the angle issue). Had to undue the bottom swaybar joint...nothing too special. Just be sure to get a decent spring compressor. I had 2 sets of the harbor freight $10 deals and the center screws bowed on me when I had it compressed so it made for a lovely pucker factor even with the "safety" pins.
Rears were done in 20 minutes. Dont even take the rear wheels off.

I changed mine out over the weekend. I had 2 issues while doing the fronts:
1) The original nut at the top of the old shocks (fronts) was rusted and was a real pain pain getting it unthreaded off the old shock rod (spring was compressed).
2) Alignment of new shock to coil over assembly, even though I marked the orientation prior to disassembly somehow the lower shock mount got indexed 90 degrees and wouldnt fit in lower control arm Made sure on the second one it was correct.
Rears are a piece of cake.
I used the tool loaner program at Checkers and got a puller set for the steering arm and upper ball joint and 1 set of spring compressers. Worked well.
