Cool got truck back.

hey every one got my truck back thursday and am taking it back to the
dealer today it used 1/2 a tank of fuel to go 30mi. pumped black smoke
all the way home. I am not happy. also they got the carpet dirty and
dented the right fender trim. this realy sucks. I was going to pop in up
north this weekend.

It doesn't sound you are having a good experience. What dealer are you using?

the dealer will stay unnamed for now till they fix the truck. if it was out of warranty
I would fix it my self. saturday they got it running right and in two weeks they are going to fix the dent. and clean the carpets front and back.

What was causing it to run bad, and why didn't they find that to begin with? At least you got it back and they are going to fix the dent also. Hopefully you won't have any more issues.

I do not know. they said one of the plug in`s did not lock and came apart.
as for the dents we will see how good of a job they do. I told them I show the truck
at shows and gave them a picture of it. it was a best of show picture. I told them I
wanted it back when they got done. I think they got the point. ( it better be right ).

Will they pay the bill if you take it to a body man that you trust? Under the circumstances I would push for this.

they have a good body shop they work with. I have talked to them also and seen their
work. we will see what happens and go from that point. this puts me behind on the new build for 2008 show season. I may miss the lane automotive show this year.
that sucks now that I have the tv and play station ll to add to the system
in the box.

The wii just seems like a more creative thing. specially if you droped like a biger flat screen in the back of the truck for when you pop the hatch, then the tv can fold down and the wii would be setup there. could play games with a sweet sound system.
as well when your at meets and stuff, have something fun to do like play baseball or golf whatver wii game you get. =)

I thought the back of the truck was for beer, that's why I got a long box this time.

Actually did that on an old chevy to get onto the dunes. I had 2 1/2 barrels, one was a gas tank, the other was....set up to look like I had 2 tanks. Man I got away with a lot of crap when I was young~er. My cousin had a tank under the hood that was plumped into the glove compartment with Whiskey coming from the tap. They never caught on to it, but that was WAY before the riots up there. Things haven't been the same since.
