door handle same as Focus?

Is the interior door handle on the 2001 Escape the same as is in the Focus? I am having trouble sourcing a crome(ish) passenger interior door handle, as the rebuilder in the area are apparently buying up all the Escapes and their parts. I was told that the Focus may have the same handle. Does anyone know?
