Okay, this is not good. The disease is starting to spread!! Jake may be beyond help, but maybe we can still save Kenny!! We may have to do a FTE chapter intervention, to keep Kenny from going to the dark side.......

Well I'm glad to see that we all pick on me when I'm not around to defend myself.....oh well, I'd do the same thing
I like it. I think mileage will turn out to be the same as my old pickup. It's tough to tell when it's this cold out. Letting it sit and warm up for 5-10 minutes doesn't do me any favors. I've been in the 11.5-12.5 range though. I think once it gets warmer it'll get better........oh, she's plenty loud......I think it's gettin louder.......

Now guys (since I'm all about digging out old threads tonight) I want you to know that my current odometer reading is 79,7xx. I got this thing with 66,011 on it on about Jan 1. I've been driving the heck out of it!!!
Anyway, I really like it. I've since added a set of Goodyear MT/R's, put a 12" glasspack on (was straight piped), and took the goofy nerf bars off and put diamond tread running boards on with 8 LED lights down each side.
On the highway (before the MT/R's) it actually did pretty dang decent. If I filled up in Central City and drove nice I would be reading 16.5+ mpg's on my way to Kenny's in Platte Center this summer. The MT/R's have cost me mileage though......I'm living in Hastings and averaging about 11.2.......I didn't buy it for fuel mileage though......it's worth not worring about getting stuck though......just how big of a tractor it will take to get me out!!!
I've thought about chipping it but on a gas burner you typically only get a 10-15% gain. While that's still 35-40 horse I'm not sure it's worth the big $$$. I figure I can spend that $350 on something else I don't really need.....

Yea.....I'd have body work started at least. The tires were a "need" thing. I hit the final straw this spring when I slid off the driveway, ended up in the cornfield and almost didn't get back out. Dad was working in the shop, but he stood outside and watched cause he heard the sound of thunder. The running boards were to keep rock chips off. It never was a problem on my 98......my mudflaps were longer on this Dodge too....I just don't know!!!
And why do you think I'm not gonna put a chip in it?

Yea. No one around the college really says anything about my pickup. I've got one guy with a 5.3 Chevy interested in a friendly race.....but I think I know how that will end....
