The antifreeze leak woes continue

About a month ago I noticed the A/C compressor and passenger half shaft was wet with antifreeze. There was also a little antifreeze on the ground. That went away, but then I noticed it was wet around the thermostat housing. I just got the thermostat leak fixed, but then a few days ago the other leak started again. What would be causing a leak that would make the A/C compressor and that area be wet with antifreeze? I hope its not the head gasket on the passenger side or anything like that. Please help. I'm getting frustrated.

Sounds like You have a cracked intake manifold cross over tube. Is your cross over tube plastic or aluminum.

Where exactly is that tube located? Is that the tube on top of the block that goes to the water pump?

I'm guessing the intake needs to be removed for this repair?

The part of the intake where the thermostat housing is bolted. Is it plastic or aluminum?

Ok so heres an update on what I've found.......I still dont' know route cause.

The top of the head is dry, but its wet at about the middle of the exhaust manifold and down the block. The head gasket was dry, then I started the engine and the gasket was wet from the middle of the exhaust manifold to the front. I can't physically see any leaks coming from the head. There are puffs of white smoke from the exhaust maifold.

There doesn't appear to be any antifreeze in the oil and there are external coolant leaks. The antifreeze doesn't appear to be oily.

Thoughts so far......freeze plugs or head gasket. Do you guys have any other ideas?

The truck runs/idles well, the exhaust doesn't smell sweet, the truck runs at normal temp.

I have an appt this week at the dealer to have them diagnose it.

Could be a bad casting in the head causing seepage? It's really hard to say.
