LED Bulbs
I bought some LED bulbs and put themin the tailights on my 95 in my sig...Now the turn signals don't work.I heard something about soldering resistors inline with the wiring to the bulb itself.....is this true and which wire do I solder the resistor onto?Also...how big of a resistor? Thanks.

Sometimes an electronic flasher will fix the problem. And you can use the resistors if an electronic flasher is not available for your truck. The resistor will hook in parallel with the bulb. So for the bulbs in the rear, you will have a brown wire for the running lights, and a colored wire for the brake/turn. You hook one end of the resistor to the colored brake/turn wire, and hook the other end of the resistor to the black ground wire.
If you want to know more about, it just punch in "LED load resistor" in a google or yahoo search box.

Hey Franklin, I went to a bunch of different stores today and finally ended up at radio shack. They had resistors but to tell you the truth I dont even know what to look for or how to go about putting it in. The guy at radio shack had no idea what they even were. Can you give me a description of what I need to get and what to do with it? Thanks

Here's one.

You need to wire one side to the bulb, and the other side to ground. The bulb will have a brown wire and a colored wire going to it. Hook the resistor to the colored wire, this is the brake turn wire. The brown wire is the running lights, and they do not need a resistor.

as don said
just change the flasher
the factory flasher has a bulb out feature that
causes the fast flash when the load is low
get the flasher without this feature
in my 96 e350 I put 2 led 3157? in each side
I could not find the correct 3 blade like the factory put in
I used a 2 blade electronic unit and it wirks just fine
