Opinion on bull bar...
I have really been wanting to get a bull bar for the front of my truck, but everyone around here has the chrome bull bar. What do you think it would look like if I got it powder-coated the arizona beige color they use as an accent color on the King Ranch? Would it just look goofy???

I have the same Bull Bar and I think it's pretty cheezy. It's basically ONLY for holding lights, the thing is not strong at all for pushing anything. It has been a useful step for working on my truck though! I will be changing over to a heavy duty bumper with winch integrated sometime later this year. As far as you having it painted to match....hmm. Undecided on that until I saw it, but I am thinking chrome will still look better. There's my .02

I bought my bar from randyellisdesigns.com (if you're looking to add lights too). He was local when I lived out in AZ so I went and picked it up. Very sturdy design, I've used it to pull some rigs out of the dunes, held up fine.
My thoughts on the beige, it might not look too bad since you already have some beige up there.

Pretty much any bolt-on "brush guard" type attachment is just that, just a brush guard.
If you want strength, replace the bumper.

I dont have one but just wanted to say if you decided to get one try to find it with black powdercoat cause it would be easier to either strip or just paint over it vs. the chrome version. Plus, the powdercoat should be cheaper too.
I would suggest a full front end replacement bull bar but that is my personal preference and the deer factor in my area.

I'm sure if they were to install it, they would have seen the mistake and fixed it. I also don't believe that a steel pipe bumper is no place for caulk...
