Southern Motorsports Fest announced

Just thought I would share our latest press release with you guys (and ladies)so you have plenty of time to prepare - mark this on your calendars and get your Fords ready!! Please e-mail me at the address below if you have any questions. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to announce this event to your forum!

----------------

The Southern Monster Truck Showdown series has announced that it will be be bringing much larger events to 2 of its tour locations this year in Florida. The weekend events have been expanded from "just" a monster truck show to much, much more. They have also changed the name of these two events to reflect the nature of the weekend better, now to be known as the SOUTHERN MOTORSPORTS FEST.

May 16th, 17th & 18th at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Eustis, Florida will be the 1st of these events. Activities will include show 'n shine contest for cars, trucks and motorcycles, rock-crawling, street-truck tugs, mud racing, tough truck contests, stereo competitions, freestyle motorcross exhibitions, and of course, each day will culminate with the Monster Truck Showdown. Oh, and guys, don't miss the bikini contest on Saturday afternoon, you know those Florida girls are hot!!

The second event of 2008 will be held at the beautiful Clay County Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs, FL on September 12th, 13th & 14th. All of the above activities are planned and much more (to begin with, the ever-popular burn-out contest that was hosted last year).

Tickets for spectators, as well as entry fees for participants are always kept to a minimum, so have no worries about being able to afford to check this event out. Southern Monster Truck Showdown strives to promote events that are safe, affordable, family-friendly and enjoyable for the widest-possible spectrum of motorsports enthusiasts.

Sponsor opportunities are still available for both events at the time of this printing, but please inquire as soon as possible to obtain the maximum exposure for your business, plus, you'll find the sponsorship opportunities available to be very affordable.

Full details will be announced on the series' website, www.southernmonstertruckshowdown.com, as the dates approach. For more (or advance) information, contact the promoters directly at southernmonstertruckshowdown@mfi.net

Just a quick note, a swap meet section has also been added. Contact us for more information if you're interested. All swap meet vendors must be pre-approved (via e-mail).

Also, we have a new e-mail address, a little simpler also than our old one:
smts4info@yahoo.com

Looking forward to seeing a lot of beautiful Fords at the show!

C ya there!!
