Really? I love mine. I gained 8 tenths. Plus it made setting up 8 amps so much easier.

I'll end up doing 4 of the 2K6D's the I guess 7K's are made up of 2 of these in one case. A good friend is now repping the line out here in Cali and has 4 of the 16v 7K's and does well with them.

he's got to get with Alan and get back to me about the amps. So we'll see.

Talk to Mike Stiers about the Maxxlink, It took me a min to get it right.

Here's a video from this weekends show. My buddy James took it. For some odd reason I didn't even think to get the camera out.

It was my DB Drag SS1-2 NW run. didn't build it to burp but it did pretty well for an SQ truck.

Bump!
Just wondering how the build is going. Been following it but haven't seen any new pixs lately.
Like watching a good movie and the power goes out!
Hope all is well!

The build is where it's at until I get the new amps and subs. We were camping this weekend so I didn't do anything but give a few people a demo. I'll try to shoot some videos of it doing it's thing. That should hold ya over until my order comes in.

Thanks.

The plan is to go with 4 of the 2K6D's with the 2 DC LVL5 18's

That should be enough power for her

I'm doing a cut out in the back of the box so everyone can see the mags of the subs.

Anybody wanna guess what this is?

It wasn't cheap either

Then I started on this....

I wonder what it's for?

Virto is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I just stumbled in here on a whim but...oh my GOD.

Can't wait to see that plexiglass in place. You sir, truly are a master craftsman.

3/4" Acrylic Sheet 2x4'

it will be sandwiched between 2 sheets of birch ply cut in an oval to match the ford logo. then I will back light the glass to make the logo look like it is etched into the glass.

The box is the start of the amp rack for the new Hifonics Maxximus amp to go in it. About 10k watts should do it.

It will get recessed into the top on the box and will have a window strip showing the top as well.

Not much to do on it tonight, I will pull the box tomorrow and start hacking on it then.

I'm still waiting on the plexi mirror for the front of the box at the cut to better show the subs.
