Time to do a test fit.

Nice and tight.

Now to make my final fit from boot to box.

If I didn't know any better I would say that Ford had planned on me wanting to put 2 circuit breakers along the frame rail
I didn't have to drill out any holes at all.

I love it when a plan comes together

Got wire?

I got it all measured out and ready for ends just before it got too nasty outside to do anything. besides i'm out of solder.

WOW! Not much room in the bed. What made you decide to put the sub box in the bed?

I didn't want to have a simple install in the cab, the under seat subs weren't gonna cut it.

It's mama's truck and with the cover and little bit of a lift, the front half of the bed is useless to her.

We also have an 04 Kingranch that is stock to do any hauling with if needed.

My man Jack came over and hooked my up on an alarm today.

I started to resin the corners of the box.

Taught the boy how to solder and run power wire today.

A little shrink wrap.

Not too much to show tonight. My ass is tired after all I did this weekend.

So here it goes.

I made some battery boxes.

These will set on each side of the box

And worked on mounting the amps. I never knew I had an 18" waist till I had to mount these posts

Here's how they will layout.

I should have the batteries and box mounted tomorrow night.

Looking better all the time. Quite an impresive install. Espically for an at home install. I would expect to see similar things coming from high end shops. Nice work. Still eager to see final pics, and for final results over all.

Thanks, It's a slow process. I think I work too slow to make any money at this. Thats unless someone can be without their ride for awhile.

Ok, sitting here waiting for the truck to come home so I can do a few things

Went out and picked up a few things.

Here is where the speaker leads will come through.

Found some 10G wire It should do the trick.

I also needed some battery terminals. They were way more then I wanted to spend but the ones I wanted were out of stock everywhere so Oh well. At least they look good.

And I got the subs mounted.

Now I need to sucker a few people over to help me load this thing.

Well there is an AWFULL lot of work being done here. Hell i would be willing to leave you my truck. Im sure you would be alot cheaper than almost any install shop. But i also enjoy the building of audio systems. I admire your work greatly.

Later,
Don
