the "X" actually belongs to bgalaxy... I belive he is going with mostly new setup, well actually i think he is putting a truck load of new subs in there... Not to sure on that, im sure he will drop by and let us all know, or maybe leave us in the dark until its done? Either way it will be just a lil loud!

Actually the X is all stock for the time being. I even have the 3rd row in

The amps are just part of the build. The box will be fiberglassed into the rear of the truck from the 2nd row back. Most likely I will use the 16 12's I have now. I might switch them over to DC sound labs later on.

Some of the other things to work out is power, it will take a few alt and plenty of batteries to feed these guys. Not to mention the 400 or so feet or power wire.

I'm still working on a few other things before I start.

I would like to see a rear tailgate of the old Bronco's on it, and I haven't figured out if I can swing making it into a 6 door yet.

it's already started to be 100+ degree days outside and that will really slow me down.

I intended the 250 to just be a nice daily driver, however it holds it's own really well in the lanes. So it will see quite a few shows this year.

The X will be a show piece. I'm going to take all I learned, and what I've seen and do some tricks with the X. I would like to test my skills on this one.

Yup.

Hell I haven't driven it since October

Once I have all ideas finalized then I can start and take build pics.

I thought about 15's or even 18's but I have a bunch of 12's.

Now if I could off load all the 12's then I might look at it again.

How about a small update on the truck?

I cleaned up shop just so I can mess it up again.

This is a big ol' stack of wood.

Thats a lot of holes for 2 subs.

Making the face 3" thick.

I wonder whats under here?

Not bad for 4- 4x8 Sheets of birch

Nothing like getting going at 10 at night. Couldn't make much noise so I'll resume tomorrow.

Sometime you have to get creative. I can't change the angle on the saw anymore so I made a jig.

Looks awful small, I wonder if it will work?
